Marriage Anniversary

Anniversary... whats' it.. a day.. when the marriage took place.. after I completed 1 year I thought.. wow .. I was able to keep it for a year.. In wikipedia.. it says "Married persons who regard the day of their marriage as important may mark the occasion in some special way." a special day.. a day signifying of being together .. together through thick and thin.. or sometimes signifying we have tolerated each other for so many years.. haha ... but people do try to shed off the downs but glorify the ups in these years.. thats the celebration.. else no point of it.. today is the 45th anniversary of my parents... we term it by years.. mere years.. I say.. my parents once told me.. thats it 's really insignificant for them to celebrate the day.. they know each other for long... much before the day they married and hence the anniversary of that day does not hold much water but may be the wonderful feeling of sharing with each other.. I congratulate them !! they are excellent couple..
